Asteroids is a vector graphics arcade shoot 'em up game released in 1979. Players control a spaceship in the middle of a spac e filled with asteroids and flying saucers. The objective is to shoot and destroy asteroids and saucers, while avoiding collisions with the asteroids and defensive fire from the saucers.
